The Windsor Sports & Cultural Center’s 19th Annual Sports & Punjabi Mela brought together athletes, families and community leaders for one of the city’s biggest cultural sporting events of the year — and H&H Media was there to capture it.

Community Leaders in Attendance
This year’s Mela welcomed some notable guests, including Harb Gill, Member of Parliament for Windsor West, and Drew Dilkens, Mayor of Windsor. Their presence reflected just how significant this event has become for Windsor–Essex’s Punjabi and South Asian community — a celebration that now draws attention well beyond the sports field itself.

Deol Group of Companies Announces Scholarship Program
Among the highlights of the day was an announcement from Deol Group of Companies, who unveiled a new scholarship program for graduating high school students heading into university. It’s a meaningful investment in the next generation of Windsor–Essex, and a reminder of how community events like the Mela do more than entertain — they build people up.

Our Coverage of the Day
From the opening ceremonies to the matches, performances and community booths, our team covered the full event — photography, video, and full free photo access for every attendee through our on-site QR code system. It’s the kind of large-scale, fast-moving event we love being trusted with.
